In today’s fast-moving world, everything and anything including clothes, house hold items, gadgets and even meals can be ordered online and delivered at our doorsteps. We often blame our hectic lifestyles and the existence online delivery services as an excuse. However, on Friday July 21, 2019, Malaysians were reminded by the humility of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah that we must take time to the things that mean to us without always succumbing technology and the pace of life. The King visited a for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlet in Temerloh, Pahang; queued up just like other customers to buy lunch. Photos uploaded on social media have gone viral.

It is well known fact that both the King and Queen try their best to regularly mingle with the rakyat. The pictures of the royalties are often published on the Istana Negara’s Instagram page. The rakyat particularly the people of Pahang are humbled to have such a loving and down to earth King and Queen.

In short, people are delighted to have such an understanding and sporting King and Queen. His Majesty and Her Majesty are often found humbled and enjoying the serenity of life together with the citizens of Malaysia. As Malaysians, it is indeed a proud moment for all of us.
