The Saudi bid enjoys widespread backing from regions across the globe, including nations from multiple continental confederations around the world with total 90 countries. This show of support underscores the international community’s belief in Saudi Arabia’s capability to host a World Cup of high caliber. The Asian Football Confederation has also officially declared its support for the bid in an official statement.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabia earned the rights to host the 2027 AFC Asian Cup earlier this year, marking the first time in history that the tournament will be held in the Kingdom.
