MILO HIDUP BOLA FUTSAL CARNIVAL 2022: RSP TITAN JUNIOR EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN GRAND FINAL

The mouth-watering U-16 final which took place infront of 500 spectators saw the ever synergetic RSP Titan Junior in smashing form as they brushed aside fancied Darul Naim 3-1 in a penalty shootout while walking away with a cool RM 15,000 cash prize.

The 16th edition of the tournament had given almost 1,000 juniors a chance to display their skills.

SUBANG (12 SEPTEMBER 2022): The sixteenth edition of the MILO Hidup Bola futsal carnival lived up to its top billing as RSP Titan Junior triumph against all odds by clinching its category championship at Sportizza Sports Centre, Selangor today.

The mouth-watering U-16 final which took place infront of 500 spectators saw the ever synergetic RSP Titan Junior in smashing form as they brushed aside fancied Darul Naim 3-1 in a penalty shootout. The match was forced to be decided in a penalty shootout as both teams failed to break the deadlock in normal regulation time.

The limelight of the match was stolen by RSP Titan Junior’s wonderkid Muhammad Amir Amar as he inspired a comeback for his team through a dominating performance in the second half.

Muhammad Amir’s fruitful performance throughout the campaign was acknowledged in style as he was conferred with the best player prize in the U-16 category while walking away with a new pair of customized FIGOS futsal shoes.

“With the blessings of the almighty, I’m glad for playing a significant role in my team’s conquest throughout this tournament and I believe that we have the capabilities to achieve more greater successes in the future” said the jubilant Muhammad Amir.

RSP Titan Junior’s head coach Muhammad Nazrin Abdul Aziz commended on his team’s historic success by acknowledging his player’s consistency throughout the tournament and said, “The boys were consistent on the court and I’m happy that they have carried out their duties well as planned while maintaining their cool despite the heavy resistances from our opposition.”

“We have been waiting for this moment for the past 13 years and I’m proud of our commitment, passion and vigorous training which has led to our overwhelming success. My heartfelt to gratitude to MILO Malaysia for providing us with this wonderful platform and I hope MILO Malaysia continues to foster young talents to excel in sports as always” said Muhammad Nazrin.

MILO Malaysia’s Sports Marketing Manager, Kerwin Lim, who was present at the venue was thrilled to watch the young talents in action and congratulated the finalists. He said, “I would like to thank all the players for giving their best in this tournament.”

He added “throughout this tournament, I have seen some of the best young futsal players in our country displaying signs of maturity well beyond their age. I have confidence that they will go far in their futsal and footballing career.”

He further iterated that “Milo Malaysia” is ready to do whatever it takes to mould the best out of the young sporting talents in Malaysia. He said, “We at Milo Malaysia will ensure to continue this initiative for years to come and we hope to expand our horizons by incorporating the women’s futsal competition into next year’s MILO Hidup Bola futsal carnival.”

“Many current national & local football club players such as Terengannu FC’s Nik Akif, Johor Darul Ta’zim’s Arif Aiman, Kuala Lumpur City’s Azri Ghani and Petaling Jaya City’s Shivan Pillay have all excelled through this platform in the past hence we’re determined to produce more young talents with an aim to bring Malaysian football to a greater height.”

The afternoon U-12 fixture on the final day of competition also saw heavyweights Stylo Mylo Green overcoming tournament favourites Mota FC in a narrow 1-0 victory. Elite player Muhammad Raziq Rosli scored an outstanding goal in the dying moments of the game to secure Stylo Mylo its crucial U-12 MILO Hidup Bola futsal championship.

The household grassroot futsal tournament which commenced on the 18th of June, was conducted in 6 zones across Malaysia (Northern, Central, East Coast, Southern, Sabah & Sarawak).

The champions of the U-12 and U-16 MILO Hidup Bola futsal carnival walked away with a cool RM 15,000 cash prize. While RM 10,000 and RM 7,000 cash prizes were presented to the first and second runner ups from both categories.
